Molly Malone gespielt in unserer Theatershow Still into Folk. Dies ist jedes Mal ein Fanfavorit, wenn wir diesen Song spielen. Die Reaktion in der Menge ist wunderbar. Leider ist unsere Freundin Andrea vom deutschen Fanclub letztes Jahr verstorben, sie hat diesen Song am meisten geliebt, wir haben einige wundervolle Erinnerungen daran, Molly Malone f\u00fcr sie zu spielen und sie w\u00fcrde uns nach der Show neue Socken machen.<\/p>\n

„Molly Malone“ (auch bekannt als „Cockles and Mussels“ oder „In Dublin’s Fair City“) ist ein beliebtes Lied in Dublin, Irland, das zu seiner inoffiziellen Hymne geworden ist. Eine Statue, die Molly Malone darstellt, wurde in der Grafton Street w\u00e4hrend der Millenniumsfeierlichkeiten in Dublin 1988 enth\u00fcllt, als der 13. Juni zum Molly Malone-Tag erkl\u00e4rt wurde. Im Juli 2014 wurde die Statue in die Suffolk Street verlegt.<\/p>\n
