Hij hoorde een liedje tijdens een gezellige avond in zijn favoriete Pub, een gedeelte van de tekst bleef maar in het hoofd en zelfs zijn dromen hangen, uiteindelijk is Home is Where my Friends Are hieruit gekomen. We hebben het originele liedje dat in de pub werd gespeeld gevonden, dit was &#8220;Back to Donegal&#8221; van Rory McLoad, dit was dus de inspiratie voor Home is Where my Friends Are<\/p>\n<p>De tune die wij spelen in dit nummer heet Pride of Petravore, hier zijn ook andere liedjes voor geschreven.<\/p>\n<h2>Pride of Petravore<\/h2>\n<p>Voor zover bij ons bekend is William Houston Collisson (1865-1920) schrijver van Pride of Petravore en is een traditionele Hornpipe. Percy French (1854-1920) heeft de tekst op het nummer geschreven waardoor hij nu ook Eileen Og heet. De twee waren vrienden, toneelpartners en college-componisten.
