The presale for the Rapalje Zomerfolk Festival 2018 starts at 11 am! On 9 and 10 June 2018, for the sixth time, the Stadspark in Groningen will be transformed into a world where every folk lover will feel at home. The first headliner has already been announced: the Red Hot Chilli Pipers!
Have you already set your alarm for tomorrow morning 11 o’clock? That is when the pre-sale for Zomerfolk 2018 starts! We have something new this year (instead of the successful goodie bags); the Early Bird Weekend Ticket + Special Surprise! In recent years the special tickets always sold out within one or two days; this year 200 of these tickets will be available.
We won’t tell you what the surprise is yet, but we promise that you will be very happy with it, so make sure you’re ready! Because of the already announced Red Hot Chilli Pipers who will be on our stage on Sunday 10 June, we expect the tickets to go faster than ever so do not wait too long. And of course these tickets are great fun to give and receive as a Sinterklaas gift or Christmas present!

Today we are high on Zomerfolk! This message was supposed to only concern the fact that the pre-sale for Zomerfolk 2018 will start on December 1st. And we wanted to tell you that we have something new for the first 200 visitors who buy a weekend ticket; the Early Bird Weekend Ticket + Special Surprise! But … we have managed to book such a fantastic band for our beautiful party that we can no longer keep it to ourselves.
And that is why we proudly announce, even before the presale starts, that none other than the world famous Red Hot Chilli Pipers will be on stage at Zomerfolk on June 10th, 2018! The most famous bagpipes band in the world, not to be confused with the Red Hot Chilli Peppers, has been around since 2002 and these Scots know as no other to give the audience an unforgettable show. With Rapalje we have shared the stage with these great musicians several times and we are fans!
So enjoy the fun with us and do not forget to get your tickets as from 1 December (11:00 hrs).
